Rain sticks are ceremonial musical instruments used from ancient times to present day. Made from bamboo, this approximately 24.5 inch long, 2 inch diameter (62 X 5 cm) rain stick is hand-painted with vibrant yellow colors in the traditional aboriginal dot-painting style with a hand-drawn design in the center. The ends of the stick are capped and fabric covered to prevent the beads inside from coming out, and each end has a loop for hanging on walls.
