This beautiful 8 inch tall Aboriginal style djembe (native drum) makes an awesome decorative piece for themed rooms, but is also quite playable. The approximately 4 1/2 inch diameter head is made of natural goat skin, and the drum is hand-tightened using nylon cord. Additional nylon cord is braided to make a handle for the djembe. The bottom of the drum is hand-painted, using a traditional Aboriginal dot painting style, and features an elephant motif. This gorgeous drum looks great as a decorative item, or for playing in your local drum circle. NOTE: Because these are hand-painted, there may be differences in color and design from the one pictured.
