Phrenology is a pseudo medicine that focuses on the structure of the skull to determine a person`s character and mental capacity. This science is based upon the assumption that mental faculties are located in brain `organs` on the surface of the brain and can be detected by visible inspection of the head and skull. This cool 7.5 inch high, 4 inch long, 3.25 inch wide (19x10x8 cm) blue and antiqued white porcelain phrenology head is purposefully crazed for a vintage vibe, and makes a great gift for doctors, medical students and anyone interested in phrenology.
