Geodes are small agate nodules with a crystalline interior that form as cavities inside hardened volcanic or sedimentary rock when groundwater minerals seep in to grow the crystals. Agate tones and strengthens body and mind, as well as affording a sense of strength and courage, and it enhances creativity as it stimulates the intellect. Agate is calming and soothing. These incredibly beautiful Brazilian agate geode bookends have a nice dark natural grey like color, and have been polished along the 2 cut sides to show off the beauty and depth of the agate stone. The bookends are matched pairs, cut from the same stone. Each bookend measures approximately 4 inches high, 3 inches high and 2.5 inches wide, and they weigh less than 2 pounds each.
